2. Data Sources

Stock Expert AI aggregates data from the following sources:

• Financial Modeling Prep (FMP): Primary source for fundamentals, financial statements, analyst ratings, insider transactions, and real-time quotes.
• Yahoo Finance: Fallback and supplementary market data, analyst estimates, and earnings data.
• SEC EDGAR: Corporate filings, 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports for fundamental analysis.
• Alpaca Markets: Real-time and historical price data for charting and technical analysis.
• News Aggregation: 1,800+ news sources are scanned daily for Market Journal articles and sentiment analysis.

Data accuracy depends on these upstream providers. While we apply validation checks, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of third-party data at all times.

• Stock Prices: Real-time during U.S. market hours (9:30 AM - 4:00 PM ET, weekdays).
• MoonshotScore: Recalculated daily using the latest available market data.

• Financial Statements: Refreshed after quarterly and annual filings are processed.

4. AI Editorial Personas

Market Journal articles are attributed to AI editorial personas (e.g., Alex Sterling, Sam Rivera, Taylor Brooks). These are not real people. They represent distinct analytical styles and editorial perspectives within our AI system:

• Each persona specializes in a specific area (market strategy, equity research, earnings analysis).
• Personas provide consistent editorial voice and analytical framework.
• All persona-generated content is clearly labeled as AI-generated.

5. Human Oversight

As a solo-founder platform augmented by AI, human review focuses on systemic accuracy, model behavior, and editorial standards rather than individual article-level review. The AI pipeline is designed to minimize errors, but individual outputs may occasionally contain inaccuracies.

6. Error Correction Policy

We take data accuracy seriously. If you find an error in any content on Stock Expert AI:
