What Moon AI will not do

  • It will not tell you to buy, sell or hold anything, and it gives no personalized advice — ask "should I buy X?" and it reframes to an educational comparison you can use to decide.
  • It will not present a price target, forecast or prediction as a fact; forward-looking numbers are named estimates with a date.
  • It does not invent numbers: every figure comes from the platform's verified provider data (Financial Modeling Prep, Yahoo Finance as fallback) and is cited. When data is missing it says so.
  • Answers can be wrong. Every stock answer ends with "Educational, not advice · data as of {date}". Verify before acting, and consult a licensed advisor for personal decisions.

Where your conversation goes

  • Model: Gemini 2.5 Flash (Google, gemini-2.5-flash) processes each message; your text is not used to train any model.
  • Storage: conversations are saved to your account so you can continue them, and are deleted with your account (within 30 days of a deletion request). A safety review pass runs on each answer before it is shown.
  • Portfolio questions: Moon AI reads only the holdings you have saved on this site; it never accesses a brokerage. Details: Privacy Policy §7.

It reads the same market data the rest of the site does — the last quote recorded for each stock, which can lag the exchange — to generate interactive charts, stock cards, and price predictions.

Is Moon AI free to use?

Moon AI is free and there is no credit card.

It does need a free account, and the free tier allows 30 conversations a day; the same daily allowance applies to War Room chat, while portfolio screenshot scanning allows 5 a day. These limits exist because each message costs us model time, not to push an upgrade — there is nothing to upgrade to during the beta.

Will Moon AI tell me what to buy or sell?

No. Moon AI never issues a buy, sell or hold instruction and gives no personalized advice.
