By accessing and using StockExpertAI ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Description of Service

StockExpertAI provides the following AI-powered services for educational and informational purposes:

• AI-powered stock analysis and research tools
• Portfolio health checks and diagnostics
• Virtual trading with simulated funds
• Market news aggregation and AI-generated summaries
• Community predictions and sentiment tracking
• Educational content and investing guides

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information remains current and accurate

4. User Obligations and Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

All content, features, and functionality of StockExpertAI — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, AI-generated analysis, MoonshotScore ratings, and software — are owned by StockExpertAI LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

StockExpertAI is currently in beta and all features are free. When paid plans are introduced, payment terms, refund policies, and subscription details will be communicated in advance and added to these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STOCKEXPERTAI LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Dispute Resolution

• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
• Arbitration: Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than in court.
• Class Action Waiver: You agree that any disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.

11. Data Accuracy and Third-Party Content

Financial data is sourced from third-party providers including Financial Modeling Prep (FMP), Alpaca Markets, Finnhub, and Alpha Vantage. While we strive for accuracy, data may be delayed, contain errors, or become temporarily unavailable. StockExpertAI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Always verify information against official sources before making investment decisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
