What is the War Room?

The War Room is Stock Expert AI's live decision-support workspace for active investors. It combines stock data refreshed during market hours, AI-powered chat research, prediction scoring, and intelligence panels (DCF valuation, analyst targets, financial health, risk level) into a single workspace. Designed for self-directed investors who want analysis built from Financial Modeling Prep, Yahoo Finance and SEC EDGAR without flipping between five different tools.

How does the AI chat work?

Each ticker has its own dedicated chat thread. Ask questions about valuation, growth, competitive position, recent earnings, insider activity, or any specific data point. The AI grounds every numeric claim in FMP, Yahoo Finance, and SEC data as of the page view — no hallucinated numbers, citations included. Chat history persists per ticker.

What does the Prediction Engine do?

Generate forward-looking price prediction scenarios with confidence intervals. The engine uses a combination of technical signals, sentiment data, and analyst consensus to produce range-bound forecasts (not point predictions). Output: bullish/base/bearish scenarios with probability bands.

What are the Intelligence Panels?

Side panels show DCF Value, Analyst Target consensus, Financial Health Score (Piotroski + Altman Z), Risk Level (beta-derived), MoonshotScore breakdown, news sentiment timeline, insider activity, and investor DNA profile match. All data sourced from FMP and computed on-demand.

Why is War Room PIN-protected?

War Room costs nothing and there is no tier to buy — it needs a free account, and you set your own PIN the first time you open it. The PIN exists because each message spends part of your daily allowance of 30 War Room messages, and an unattended session should not spend it for you.
