Industries represent a more granular view than sectors. For example, the Technology sector contains industries like Semiconductors, Software, and IT Services. Each industry page shows the top-rated stocks, average MoonshotScore, and recent price momentum for that industry group.

Use industry pages to compare stocks within the same business category. This helps you identify which companies are outperforming their direct peers on fundamentals, momentum, and AI scores — a more meaningful comparison than looking across unrelated sectors.

Sector and industry labels come from our data provider's classification (Financial Services, Consumer Cyclical, Consumer Defensive, Basic Materials); it is not GICS and differs from it in places. Performance data comes from FMP and Yahoo Finance. MoonshotScore is produced only for US-traded common stocks and ADRs (NYSE, NASDAQ and OTC); funds, ETFs, warrants, units, SPACs, preferreds, and notes carry no MoonshotScore. The 5-pillar model re-ranks its roughly 5,000 US common stocks nightly against sector peers; a 9-signal score is computed once, when a page first qualifies, and is not recomputed on a schedule, so it can be older than the price beside it.
